Changes in the body can be considered as "affective" changes, and psychological ones can be considered as "delusional" changes. The term "delusion", as a psychological term, means cognitive distortions, that is, distortions in our thoughts. The main source of anxiety is negative thoughts.

The anxiety of students with test anxiety becomes more evident in important milestone exams such as TEOG, YGS, LYS. In these important exams, anxiety appears during the entire preparation phase or just before and during the exam, negatively affecting the student's actual performance and quality of life. Symptoms such as sleeping and eating disorders, anger, and introversion may occur. The student may always be tense and restless. An inability to enjoy activities when not studying may be observed. Because he may blame himself, thinking that he did not work hard enough and will not succeed. This situation causes the student to be unhappy and can sometimes lead to problems that progress to depressive symptoms.

 Students with test anxiety usually have negative experiences related to the exam. Past experiences can cause a person to develop negative thoughts about himself. These; These are negative thoughts such as “I can't do it”, “I am inadequate”, “I am a failure”.

 With the EMDR technique (Desensitization and reprocessing with eye movements), negative thoughts, emotions, body sensations and negative memories related to the exam are desensitized. In other words, the person is less disturbed by the situation. Then positive thought is placed. For example: Since the negative thought "I can't do it" no longer affects the person, the person is made to believe in the positive thought "I can do it". Thus, students Since he will not experience anxiety during the exam, he can reveal his true capacity.
