NEUROLOGICAL REHABILITATION

Neurological Rehabilitation is performed in cases where the peripheral and central nervous systems are damaged. Neurological rehabilitation must be performed in neurological diseases such as traumas, infections, structural deformations, stroke caused by circulatory problems, and spinal cord paralysis resulting from trauma. In order for the patient to reach the highest possible functional level again, the rehabilitation process is carried out using one-on-one exercise exercises and various equipment included in neurological rehabilitation.

The treatment program under the name of neurological rehabilitation, which will be carried out as a result of an adequate neurological examination and follow-up, must be specific to the patient. Within this program, the patient's recovery process should be monitored very closely and changes should be made if necessary. With the neurological rehabilitation program, the patient is considered as a whole and the patient is tried to be brought to the highest level physically, emotionally and socially. Regardless of the patient's condition, occupational therapy begins from the first day of rehabilitation to reach the maximum level of independence and is continued with the highest level of motivation.

-Circulatory system problems: Paralysis, transient ischemic attack, brain hemorrhages,
-Infections :Meningitis, Encephalitis, Polio and abscesses in the spinal cord,
-Structural, traumatic or neuromuscular diseases: Brain and spinal cord tumors, neuropathies, muscular dystrophies ( (such as Myasthenia gravis and Gullian-Barre)
-Functional diseases: Nerve pain such as headache, seizures, dizziness and neuralgia
-Degenerative diseases: Parkinson, MS, ALS, Huntington's Chorea and Alzheimer's patients

1-Patient education
2-Drug treatments
3-Rehabilitation program
4-Standard exercises; joint range of motion exercises, muscle strengthening exercises, balance and
coordination training, gait training
5-Neurophysiological exercises; Exercises that trigger brain healing applied specifically to the patient who has had a stroke
6-Electrical stimulation
7-Compulsory use treatment (Movement developed by restriction treatment):It is a treatment method developed to force the patient to use his paralyzed arm. By restricting the healthy arm with a shoulder strap and gloves, intensive and repetitive use of the paralyzed arm in functional tasks and activities is ensured.

Treatment of accompanying problems:Swallowing rehabilitation, respiratory rehabilitation, skin care, bladder and such as bowel rehabilitation, speech therapy, spasticity treatment.
