FOOD INTOLERANCE

Food intolerance is the unconscious sensitivity of people's bodies to the foods they consume. In this regard, sensitivity should not be confused with allergy. Food allergies develop faster, so people can easily notice this. However, as food intolerance develops more slowly, it becomes difficult for people to understand which food they are sensitive to. Food intolerance is a condition that causes a delayed reaction in the body due to Immunoglobulin-G. Food sensitivity or intolerance is a common condition. Food sensitivity can occur even when foods that are normally considered harmless are consumed. Even one or more of the foods that you constantly and fondly eat may have a negative effect on your body.

We can categorize food intolerances into two large groups as major and minor intolerances. If major intolerances are corrected, most minor intolerances will disappear on their own. The most common major intolerances are milk and dairy products, wheat and wheat-containing foods, sugar and sugary foods. Yeast is also one of the foods that frequently cause intolerance. It is known that those who are intolerant to one of these also develop intolerance to many foods.

Any of the foods we eat may have a negative impact on our body. In this case, our body activates the defense system against the foreign substance, and the activation of the defense system gradually deteriorates mental and physical health, causing chronic diseases in the long term. Chronic reactions due to food sensitivity are slow; but they are effective mechanisms. Being chronic, that is, continuous, increases the damage they cause in the long term. The most common chronic disease is chronic fatigue. It occurs due to foods that cannot be digested by the body. Food intolerance has symptoms such as chronic fatigue syndrome, various rashes that do not go away on the skin, joint pains, intestinal and stomach problems, and weight problems. The presence of other diseases that cause these symptoms must first be determined. After these are eliminated, it should be investigated which food intolerance the patient has.

In our clinic, we detect food intolerances through "KINESIOLOGICAL TEST". This test is performed by giving food to which the person is thought to be intolerant in one hand; It is done by testing the muscle strength of the other arm. In this completely personalized test, the person's body is asked whether the person is intolerant to that food through muscle strength. Therefore, there is no margin of error.

With the results of this test, you will learn which foods you are intolerant to. These results will also explain the reasons for the feeling of heaviness, bloating, and fatigue you feel after meals. After food intolerance is detected in individuals, a personalized, healthy and balanced nutrition program should be prepared.
