Bullying is a deliberate, repetitive and aggressive behavior in which there is a balance of power. Bullying can be physical and verbal, but it can also be relational. For example; While boys use more physical forms of bullying than girls, girls can bully socially by excluding someone in general. Today, "online bullying", called cyberbullying, is encountered on social media sites such as Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat. Children may be exposed to hurtful messages because of these sites. The American Psychiatric Association recommends that families, teachers, and students cooperate in preventing bullying.
