Self-perception can be positive or negative. If a person feels good, they usually have a positive sense of self. This can reduce a person's self-confidence, lower motivation, and cause emotional problems such as depression. For example, while human relations affect many aspects of life for some of us, when there is any deterioration here, the person may feel depressed or helpless. Therefore, instead of limiting the areas that affect our self to a single area of ​​life, if we combine various interests and perspectives, the problems that occur at one point will not have a great effect on us.

In addition, spending time with people who have a positive sense of self can increase one's self-confidence. It is important to determine the interests, hobbies and values ​​that are good for you, to shape our lives in line with these, and to communicate with people who are good for us. Apart from this, self-awareness can also be beneficial in one's relationships with others. When a person understands their own limits, needs and feelings, they can communicate more healthily and establish a better connection in their interactions with others.

If our self-awareness is high, we will know what we think about ourselves, how we behave and how we feel. We can understand more easily. It is possible to improve the sense of self and can increase one's self-confidence, increase motivation and help them have a better quality of life. With self-awareness, it can be much easier for a person to accept criticism against himself, to identify areas that need improvement, and to notice positive aspects.
