What You Can Do to Cope With Overthinking:
•Revise the issues that occupy your mind. Instead of focusing too much on the things that affect you negatively and that you think you made a mistake, take some time to think about these issues. Stop thinking after the time is up.

•Act when you are overwhelmed with intense thoughts. Do relaxing activities.
•Create a routine that does not consist of strict rules. Overthinking leads to feeling stuck between the past and the future. This leads to more rigid rules and inaction. For this reason, protective routines that can be stretched will help to relax.
•Take care of your sleep pattern and nutrition. If possible, do activities in which you can move. Outdoor walks will be good for stress and anxiety.
•Practicing breathing exercises and meditating helps calm the mind.
•You can make a list of things that make you happy in life. Think and jot down three events that make you happy on a daily basis. For example: “The coffee I drank today was delicious, I got to work on time, lunch was delicious”. It may be difficult at first, but as you practice, your mind will begin to pay attention to the positive things that happen in daily life.
