1) Drink a glass of water when you wake up. Water is the first way to say "good morning" to our body. For this reason, you should drink a glass of water every morning on an empty stomach. Many people think that drinking hot water on an empty stomach in the morning accelerates metabolism and fat burning. However, contrary to popular belief, drinking hot water does not melt fat. On the contrary, drinking cold water helps burn fat. The body spends extra energy as it tries to bring the nutrients it takes from outside to its own temperature.
2) Do not skip breakfast. Since nothing is eaten throughout the night, this hunger lasts for a long time and the metabolism slows down to protect the body. If you start the day without having breakfast in the morning, each time that passes will cause your metabolism to slow down even more. Foods, especially complex carbohydrates (foods such as multigrain bread and fruit), allow the metabolism to activate again. For this reason, breakfast should be eaten every morning. Milk and dairy products (low fat), eggs and whole grain bread can be consumed for breakfast.
3) Include snacks in your nutrition program. Foods in the complex carbohydrate group, such as fruits, vegetables and grains, accelerate the metabolism. It should not be forgotten that the longer you stay hungry, the more foods you eat and their amounts. For this reason, a light snack can be consumed with a menu prepared from these food groups. Since you won't feel hungry when you eat a snack, your main meals will also become smaller. However, care should be taken to choose the snacks consumed during meals from low-calorie foods.
4) Do not eat late. Dinner should be eaten as early as possible and, if possible, at least 4 hours before going to bed.
5) Do not miss the spices from your table. Spicy foods speed up your metabolism. Red pepper, in particular, has a good metabolism-accelerating effect. Likewise, mustard and black pepper are also good metabolism accelerators. The metabolism accelerating effect of spices is instantaneous. In order to benefit from this effect, it is recommended that people who do not have stomach problems consume some spices every day.
6) Consume metabolism-friendly protein foods. Protein foods should be included in the diet. r. Protein foods have higher thermogenic effects than carbohydrates and fats. The body spends more calories while digesting. This allows the metabolism to work faster. Foods with the highest protein content: fish, red meat, chicken, hazelnuts, eggs, milk and dairy products.
7) Speed up your metabolism by drinking coffee. Coffee has both metabolism-accelerating and concentration-enhancing properties. However, the metabolism-accelerating effect of coffee is instantaneous, like spices. For this reason, 1 - 2 cups of black coffee can be consumed during the day, paying attention to the amount drunk, the frequency, and whether it is sugar-free and cream-free.
8) Take action.
9) Consume milk and yoghurt with main meals instead of acidic drinks. Adequate calcium intake accelerates metabolism. Skim milk and yoghurt are the best sources of calcium.
10) Do not forget to consume 3 main meals and 3 snacks a day
