What is Belly Drop?

Navel droop; It is a term used among the public. Recurrent abdominal pain, bloating, backache, nausea, vomiting, feeling the pulse from different places in the abdomen, and symptoms of depression are among the characteristic features. Other common names: umbilical cord, umbilical cord protrusion, umbilical displacement and umbilical leakage.

This disease is not a single disease, but a condition in which the symptoms of many diseases are called belly droop by the public.


DIAGNOSIS

Patients complaining of abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting apply to hospitals. In some of these patients, no disease is found in the examinations.

The most common disease accompanying belly droop is mini umbilical hernia. Other accompanying diseases are; abdominal migraine, abdominal epilepsy and depression. In some patients, symptoms of belly drooping may be accompanied by Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

The psychological states of these patients vary greatly. Their body's response to stress differs from normal people.

Belly drooping is not a single disease. Therefore, each disease that causes the symptoms of the disease should be treated separately. First of all, if there is a mini umbilical hernia, it should be corrected. If accompanied by abdominal migraine, abdominal epilepsy and depression, medical treatment should be applied for these conditions.
