- What do we do about varicose veins?
First of all, you will be examined by a specialist doctor in a clean, spacious environment without waiting and your Doppler Ultrasonography will be performed. Your disease is diagnosed and graded. If you have a problem with your large varicose veins called VSM or VSP, Laser (endovascular laser ablation) is planned and this problem will be solved.
- Laser (EVLA - Endovascular laser) ablation):
In the operating room environment, after the necessary conditions are created, a special laser catheter is placed in the problematic vein under ultrasonography guidance, and the problematic vein is closed properly after the necessary conditions are created.
As the dysfunctional vein is closed, the patient's complaints such as swelling, tingling, numbness and cramps in the legs and feet disappear. During this procedure, the patient is not put to sleep, no anesthesia is applied to the waist, and regional anesthesia is applied. The patient does not need to stay in hospital. He is discharged within a few hours after the procedure and can go home on foot.
- Foam sclerotherapy application:
With diameters around 5-1 mm, It is applied for varicose veins. Varicose veins of this size are destroyed by applying a special medicine, previously prepared by mixing it with air and turned into foam, into the vein with thin needles.
- Thermocoagulation (Transdermal radiofrequency ablation):
Capillary varicose veins smaller than 1 mm, not only in the legs but in any part of the body, are destroyed by thermocoagulation with a special medical device that transmits radiofrequency ablation energy with a special needle tip. It is a painless procedure that can be performed immediately and the patient can continue his normal life after the procedure.
