Detox waters, slimming waters, and edema-relieving teas are among the questions I get most often. Because, as a country, we have to deal with certain trends every period. It has become a part of our lives to see some things as wonderful and some as bogeymen.
However, this is not the case. Everything in nature is beautiful in a certain order and balance. Golden strawberry was once great, now it's bad, goji berry is a great slimmer, chia seeds are indispensable, and teff seeds are not. Detox waters are like this.
So what is this detox water? We call the flavored water detox water by adding foods such as lemon, parsley, cucumber, apple, cinnamon and mint into the water. We can say that it is a kind of vitamin water. So yes, drinking this water gives you extra vitamins, accelerates your metabolism as you increase your water intake, suppresses appetite, balances blood sugar, and again helps in shining the skin and removing toxins from the body because water intake increases. In this way, you will indirectly burn fat, lose weight and become purified. These are really good results.
Let's get to the legends. This water does not go directly and burn fat cells. It does not melt the belly area. It won't destroy your hips. Toxins have accumulated in the body and you cannot get rid of them just by drinking this water. The kidneys and liver already do the job of cleansing toxins. So, you can see all these positive effects by just drinking water.
Now let's come to my suggestion. If you do not attach great importance to detox waters, if you do not normally like to drink water, but by preparing such waters you are motivated, feel good and increase your water consumption, please continue. But if you say no, it seems unnecessary to me, I already drink my water, there is no need to force yourself to prepare detox water.
