Calendar Method

How is the calendar method applied?

Although it is not reliable and not recommended, it is one of the most frequently used methods. It is a method applied by avoiding sexual intercourse on the days when there is a possibility of becoming pregnant. In women whose menstrual cycles are very regular, the seven days before and after ovulation in a menstrual cycle are risky. Ovulation occurs between 13-15 days, right in the middle of two menstrual periods.
A woman with regular menstrual cycles may consider a total of 16 days between 6-22 days from the beginning of menstrual bleeding as risky.

How can it be understood that ovulation has occurred?

p>

It can be understood whether ovulation has occurred or not by measuring body temperature, changes in cervical secretion, tests showing hormonal fluctuation in the body, and ovulation pain. However, determining the day of ovulation and not having sexual intercourse on those days is not a reliable method.
