Clinical application of screws is simple. After the anesthesia is applied to numb only the gum of the area where the screw will be placed, the screws are placed at the appropriate inclination using a special driver.
Whether the screw is placed properly is checked by periapical x-ray.

MINI PLATE

The advantage of mini plates over screws is that they can be loaded with heavy forces, but recently the properties of screws have improved and they can be loaded with heavier forces. Although it can be downloaded, it has lost its former popularity. Additionally, mini plaques cannot be placed in every area. Their prices are also more expensive than mini screws.
It is especially preferred in open bite treatment in cases where molars need to be buried.
