What is Portage?

Portage Early Education inventory is used to determine whether children between the ages of 0-6 have developmentally appropriate skills for their age. It is determined at what stage the child is in terms of social, language, self-care, cognitive and physical development, and from that stage on, the aim is to ensure the healthy growth of the child by teaching exercises and games to help develop each skill. Portage early education program can be applied to children with normal development, as well as to children who are delayed at any stage of their development or have developmental delays. The Portage inventory began to be developed in the United States in 1969 and took its current form by updating it with the information obtained as a result of the applications.
