Pre-Exam Advice

Hello, In this article, I would like to make a few suggestions to you students and their parents about how to conduct the exam process in a healthy way and what to do before the exam.

The building should be visited a few days before the exam. Our student should walk around a bit, if possible, enter the classrooms and check the desks, sit down and wait for a while. This activity will reduce the student's anxiety about the exam environment to some extent.

The student should go to the exam place with a maximum of one or two people, avoid crowded ceremonial activities that will put pressure on the student on the morning of the exam and increase the stress on the student. We recommend stopping. Before the exam, especially, the nasal passage of the students should be open for a healthy respiration. Because an unhealthy respiration can quickly cause students to show signs of fatigue and thus increase stress.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO IN THE MORNING OF THE EXAM?

Exam Having a light breakfast in the morning and a menu consisting of the foods that the student eats normally are the most appropriate. Foods that the student's body does not encounter frequently should be avoided so that the emergence of stomach digestive discomfort due to exam stress should be avoided. At breakfast, drinks such as green tea, sage, black tea that increase the need for toilet by causing the release of fluid (urine) from the body should be avoided. In fact, 2-3 hours of toileting training before the exam date, covering the exam hours, may be beneficial.

If your need to go to the toilet during the exam worries you a lot, you can also consider the option of wearing loose clothing and using adult diapers. . Yes, this may make you sweat a little bit, but it will save you from the fear of needing the toilet.

HOW TO SOLVE EXAM QUESTIONS?

Exam questions, which course questions first. It is one of the most frequently asked questions to get started. If we focus on the next basic aptitude test on our agenda, the point value of each net line answered in TYT varies between 3.72 and 3.2. The important thing here is if you have a systematic shape beforehand. If you do not have a method that you continue with in the course, we recommend that you start with the course with the highest accuracy rate in your previous attempts, or the Turkish course. Because, it was seen that the questions of the Turkish course were answered with a higher accuracy rate than the other courses. If some of the Turkish questions are long and left to the end, it may be a good option to solve them at the beginning of the exam so that there is no anxiety about completing them on time. It is known knowledge. Some of the questions will be very easy, and some of them will be very difficult and blended. Therefore, when you start to solve the questions, you may encounter a very difficult question at first. If such a situation occurs, which is very likely, we recommend that you do not spend much time on those questions, put a line like a line in front of the problem you cannot solve and move on to the next question immediately. When you finish the questions of that lesson or solve the other questions, it would be right to go back and look at the questions that you had difficulty in solving. Because, if you get stuck on a question, it may remind you of situations that you had difficulty in solving in the past and that made you feel inadequate, and may leave you face to face with the fear of failure. In such a case, it may increase your anxiety and affect your motivation negatively at the beginning of the exam. Another point to be noted here is that some questions may come up too easily. In such cases, some students who are accustomed to difficult questions, especially in essays, have difficulty in making sense of this situation and may answer incorrectly, although this is quite normal for the purpose of the exam.

It would be helpful to read the part. Reading the part of the question sentence will give you information in advance about what you should pay attention to and what to look for in the text. To illustrate this with an example, for example, you walked into a room, checked all the furniture, and then they told you Was there a telephone in the room? But if you knew at first that you need to call the phone, you will have a better chance of getting faster and more accurate results by focusing on the phone. However, some students have a habit of underlining all the questions they read. Underlining all that you read will slow you down because your eye is faster than your pencil. Also, if you underline the whole question, it is inevitable that you will have confusion about the place you need to pay attention to in the question.

Coding the answers on the answer sheet should not be left to the last. In such a case, our probability of shifting the marks on the answer sheet and our fear of not being able to arrive on time increases. Marking as soon as you solve the question can also be a waste of time. Here we suggest that after answering the questions 10 at a time or on one side of a question booklet, the answers should be marked on the answer sheet. At the same time, in this way, our attention will be distracted from the questions for a short time and we will take a short rest break.
