Different methods are used in the treatment of herniated disc, depending on the severity of the disease. In cases that do not resolve with rest, medication or physical therapy, surgical intervention may be considered.
Cervical disc herniation: It occurs when the discs in the cervical vertebrae are damaged. Over time, complaints of neck, back and arm pain occur. In cervical disc herniation, the priority is exercise and drug treatment. If patient complaints persist, surgical option may be considered.
