Hello, my dear patients;
Today, I would like to give you information about low back pain that I think will be useful to you.
Low back pain is a very common complaint in society, and its incidence rate is % for all ages. It is around 20. According to studies, 85-90% of people experience low back pain at least once in their lives, and 50% of these patients complain of low back pain again.
We can divide low back pain into acute (less than 4 weeks), subacute (between 4 weeks and 3 months) and chronic (more than 3 months) depending on its duration. The recurrence rate of acute low back pain, which is generally caused by sudden adverse movement, trauma, or staying in the cold, is much lower than chronic low back pain. According to studies, approximately 81% of a patient suffering from chronic low back pain will experience a second attack of acute low back pain within a year.
After giving you general information about low back pain, Now let's talk about what we should pay attention to in order to avoid back pain.
The most important point we need to pay attention to in order to avoid back pain is to maintain normal body posture, that is, not to disrupt our posture as much as possible. To put it more simply, if we disrupt the straight and upright posture of our waist too much with the movements we make during the day, it is inevitable that we will have back pain. We move so much during the day that the question of how not to disrupt our posture may be on your mind right now. The answer to this question is actually very simple
Let me explain it to you with a few examples; For example, we tie our shoes every morning. Be careful, most people lean forward and tie their shoes. This is an extremely wrong move, because when we bend forward, too much load is placed on our waist. Instead we should squat from our knees or, more accurately, use a riser. Or when we lift an object, be careful, most people do this by leaning forward and then some of them get stuck.
We can multiply more examples like this, my dear patients, but I think I can explain what I mean. If you protect yourself and pay attention while doing your movements, your waist or another part of your body may be injured. The probability of interference decreases considerably.
I will share with you a more detailed article about how we should organize our activities, my dear patients. Hope to see you again.
With love
