ARM LIFT
Sagging in the upper arm is usually due to weight loss. If you have been overweight at some point in your life, there is a high risk of your arms becoming saggy.
When you gain weight, the arm skin becomes tight. However, when this weight is lost, it has difficulty in regaining its previous shape and sags.
Sagging usually occurs on the upper parts of the arms and on the inner side. Sagging in the arm is very rare except for this area, because in other regions the skin and subcutaneous tissues are very tightly connected to the underlying muscles and these strong bonds prevent sagging.
TREATMENT:
These sagging cases are difficult to treat because if only fat is removed, the sagging of the skin increases. This area is one of the places where liposuction should be done with caution. The solution is to remove the skin along with the fatty tissue. In this way, sagging is prevented, but this surgery leaves an unpleasant scar on the back of the arm. Thus, I can say that the sagging arm problem is replaced by scars. However, if your arms are really sagging, you may find such a scar acceptable.
Still, do not be discouraged, if this scar does not pose a problem for you, the surgery is not very difficult, risky or major. It takes about 2 hours and can be done with general or local anesthesia. You usually do not need to stay in the hospital, your stitches are removed after a week and you can return to your normal life. For the first two weeks, you can only do your daily work, you can start sports such as running, which do not use your arms, in the third week, and sports such as tennis after the fourth week.
TIPS:
Very With a new technique, an arm surgery with a "mini" scar is performed only at the armpit level. This surgery may only be suitable for those with minimal sagging. Keep in mind that the result of every “mini”surgery will also be “mini”. Still, I think it can be tried.
