Drawing a Road
Have your child draw or paint the road between kindergarten (kindergarten, primary school, etc.) and home on a piece of paper. You can give him a small hint at the point where he gets stuck. Thus, he will draw the map in his mind and try to remember the roads, buildings and streets.
* Loyalty Games
You can play this nice loyalty game from time to time while eating or in the car. For example, you name various animals (fish, parrot, monkey, mole...), and then your child will tell you where he lives (in the air, on land, in the water).
* What do you hear?
When you walk together or go somewhere, pay attention to where the sounds you hear come from.
The ability to concentrate improves while exercising the sense of hearing. What are you hearing? Does this vehicle sound belong to a truck? Are there any birds singing? Was it a seagull? When the shopkeepers in the market say "Come on, a kilo of tomatoes costs 2 liras", ask your child, how much did he say?
* Who Saw It First?
Concentration can be improved through the sense of hearing as well as the sense of sight. For example, who was the first to see a yellow car, flower or animal while out shopping, in nature, anywhere. Which of us will see the other kid in the red jacket? Your child will concentrate to find what you say. Of course, we should not exaggerate, these are 10-minute activities. Don't bore your child for hours.
* Hmm, What Could This Be?
A fun concentration game, you can do it at the table for breakfast or dinner. When you put the food on the plates, have your child close his eyes and guess what is on the menu today by tasting it. It's harder to guess just by smelling it.
* Keeping a Diary
Buy your child a diary with a nice lock and key. If he wants, he can summarize the day every evening. While doing that, he concentrates on what he did all day. His ability to write and form sentences also improves.
Note: Never look at his diary without his permission. If you look at it and criticize it, it will be disrespectful and not ethical behavior at all.
* Other Activities
The most common and useful concentration games: jigsaw puzzle, building a card house, memory games
Mandala picture coloring relaxes children and helps them concentrate.
