Take a deep breath! Be Compassionate and Stay in the Moment!

I'm here with another blog post that I imagine will be as good as therapy when you read it. In these times when everything is too much, taking a deep breath, being compassionate to ourselves first and staying in the moment... May we always carry this magnificent trio in our hearts. As an expert psychologist, I actively include breathing, which is a treatment method, in my therapies. I can even say that breathing is very different.

The transformations my clients experience while continuing and finalizing their breathing therapies are extraordinary. Correct breathing literally stretches them both physically and spiritually. My clients who are involved in breathing therapy often realize that they have been breathing incorrectly until now. Holding breaths, interruptions in the exchange between breaths... They are surprised when they notice all these. During therapy, my client, who learns correct breathing techniques, literally starts life over in a different way. Breathing therapy brings both our physical, spiritual and psychological problems to a level of balance. My client, who learns the correct breathing techniques, experiences a decrease in stress in the ongoing process. As I mentioned in the field of breath therapy in the Therapies section; We are intertwined with the pros and cons of the digital age. We are exposed to so many stimuli; Amidst all these stimuli, we all need to stop for a moment, breathe and stay in the moment. During this period, there is a lot of distraction in both children and adults. When breathing is applied with the right techniques, we can focus and pay attention to all these stimuli. I observe that my clients who come to the session are more energetic and lively at the end of each therapy. Many physical diseases are actually a sign of our body to us. Breath therapy is also an effective treatment method for physical diseases. We reduce emotions such as stress, anger and anger, which change the rhythm in our interconnected and magnificently functioning immune system, and thus we achieve a healthy body. I will write a separate and extensive blog just for you on the importance of breathing.

The second golden key I included in the title is; Actually, I need a separate and broad title for “compassion”. This concept, which we have been hearing more loudly lately, is self-compassion and self-compassionate awareness. Winter is very important for our lives. I would like to reiterate, as I have mentioned and underlined in my other blog posts, that everything is somehow interconnected. Self-compassion is healing for oneself, and healing for everyone with whom one interacts with one's own reflection.

Lastly, I would like to crown this article with staying in the moment. Conscious awareness is an understanding that is gradually spreading and that we now hear more about in the form of mindfulness. We all need to be able to manage our attention over time. If we can come to an agreement with our hearts regarding this situation, we can direct all our attention to the present and significantly improve our quality of life. Whenever we can be in the present moment with awareness, we can be mindful, that is, conscious and attentive. This level of consciousness, which we turn into a lifestyle through our practices, offers us a state of contentment in the present. We have a mind that can go back to past memories and pursue plans for the future. Yes, it is great that the journey is positive in this equation, but; Sometimes we can do this with intense negative thoughts. There are many areas of our mind that the scientific world has not yet been able to reach, despite the research it has been doing for a long time. On the other hand, mindfulness is a golden key to life. As we continue time in life, like consecutive frames, these frames form our memories. What we need to focus on for a more fulfilling life is the here and now, the moment, the memory, the action we create. When we develop conscious awareness, we can have the power to be aware of our thoughts and emotions and thus manage them. This is possible with meditation practices that continue from centuries ago to the present day. Especially for us, who are exposed to too many stimuli in our age, it is a necessity to learn the basics of mindfulness and apply it in our lives. I can say that there are three golden keys that I recommend in my private consultancies for adults in thetherapies section with the competencies I have acquired in these fields.

Please also have a deep dive. breathe!

With love
