It is a serious and common problem that can be seen in one in every four older women. It can be seen from time to time even in young women who have not given birth. The problem gets worse as women's lives get longer. The most important cause of urinary incontinence complaints in women is genetic structure. This problem occurs frequently in individuals whose connective tissue is hereditarily weak and prone to sagging. Sagging of the genital organs mostly occurs in the presence of factors such as difficult and frequent births, chronic cough and asthma, lifting heavy loads, chronic constipation, and excessive obesity. URINARY INCONTINENCE TREATMENT

Non-surgical treatment: The aim is to improve the factors that contribute to uncontrolled urinary incontinence. This treatment method aims to correct the factors that worsen the problem, such as constipation, obesity, smoking, preventing excessive fluid intake, and the muscles and female hormone status to increase the patient's ability to balance the increased intra-abdominal pressure.

Kegel exercises. :Pelvis, also called pelvic bones in medicine is the remaining region. During birth, this is the path the baby will follow. There are many muscles in the pelvic area. Training of these muscles occurs by squeezing the muscles in this area while urinating, stopping the flow of urine, holding it for a while, and then relaxing it again. While performing this procedure, one should try to understand which muscles contraction provides this effect. Once these muscle groups are learned, they should be contracted and relaxed 200 times throughout the day. 5 slow and 5 fast movements should be done at least 5 times a day. It should be done at least 3 times during pregnancy and at least 10 times after birth. Kegel exercises prevent coughing, sneezing, laughing and urinary incontinence, which are common especially after birth.
