For reflux to occur, the stomach must be full. What needs to be done in the reflux diet is to eat small portions frequently, without overfilling the stomach, and without leaving the stomach hungry. Food should be swallowed after chewing thoroughly, so that the stomach does not secrete more acid to break down the food and reflux does not occur. Since it is common with obesity, the person should definitely reduce to his ideal weight.
Things that an individual with reflux should pay attention to:

Dark tea, coffee, chocolate. Foods such as garlic, onion and mint should not be consumed.
