Dreams are one of the best ways to show the unconscious (subconscious). The results of the EEG study show that our brain continues to work in the same way during dreamy sleep as it does during the day when we are awake. For this reason, our brain rests in dreamless sleep, so if you don't dream, it means you are rested. Therefore, if you dream a lot, you will wake up more tired.
As the problems increase, the frequency of dreaming increases. The frequency of dreaming increases as the person turns inward, thinks about his childhood and traumas, that is, regresses (goes back to the past). Sometimes people cannot fully remember some dreams, and generally dreams that are dangerous and in which repressed emotions come to the surface, when they wake up. For this reason, it may be useful to put a pen and paper next to your bed. Even if it is just a few words, what comes to mind when you wake up can be written down.
One of the things that affects dreams is what we eat. If you eat large amounts of food before going to sleep, insulin secretion begins to increase in your body, so eating before sleep may prevent dreaming. As your insulin hormone increases, you feel good mentally and this feeling suppresses the dream. Even if you see the dream, it becomes difficult to remember it. But if you go to bed hungry, it becomes easier to dream and remember. When a person sleeps hungry, the brain is left without glucose and produces more dream scenarios.
Sometimes there are places, events or people that are incomplete or blurry in a person's dream. The person's main concern lies in these events and people. Since the person is not ready to confront it, the subconscious censors those parts and presents them as missing or blurred in the dream. For example; There are two people in your dream. You remember the face of one but not the face of the other. For example, it's the face you can't remember. It is necessary to think about such dreams again and again; who was that person? Where was that? Dream, visualize and wait a bit. What comes to your mind first? Is this person male or female? Young or old? You could have a million different dreams, but your brain wrote this script, why? This must mean something, and that's why your dreams change as your inner world changes. . .
