THERE IS SOMETHING I HAVE LEARNED FROM MY EXPERIENCES...
There is something I have learned from my experiences,
Once you have experienced it, you will experience something to its intensity
Your lover should be exhausted from being kissed
You should be exhausted from smelling a flower
One should be able to look at the sky for hours,
He can look at the sea, a bird, a child for hours
p>
Living means mixing with the earth. p>You will enter the fight with all your muscles, your body, your passion
And once you lie down on the warm sand,
You will rest like a grain of sand, like a leaf, like a stone.
One should be able to listen to all the music as much as possible,
As if one's entire self is filled with sounds and melodies
One should dive headfirst into life,
Like diving from a rock into an emerald sea.
Distant countries should attract you, people you don't know
Reading all the books, getting to know all the lives
You should burn with desire
You shouldn't change to anything
The happiness of drinking a glass of water
But you should be filled with longing to experience as much joy as there is
And you must experience grief, honorably, with all your being
Because pain, like joy, matures a person
Your blood must mix with the entire circulation of life
It must circulate in your veins, with the eternal freshness of life. blood..
There is something I have learned from my experiences...
Once you have lived, you will live great...
To the rivers, to the sky, You will be involved in the whole universe.
Because what we call life is a gift to life
And life is a gift to life. to human beings...

THERE ARE SOMETHING I HAVE LEARNED FROM MY EXPERIENCES
What Ataol Behramoğlu's Poem "THERE IS SOMETHING I LEARNED FROM MY EXPERIENCES" Reminds me in terms of Human Development
This poem by Ataol Behramoğlu has always impressed me a lot. I have also asked myself: "How close are you to what is conveyed in this poem?" “Ah, there!” I would feel very special by saying. This is how I am, and I used to complain that I wish the people around me were like this too. Then I realized that everyone who reads/listens the poem thinks they are like that. "Me too, me too, me too!..." voices are rising.
When I was in the third grade of primary school, our teacher was explaining the subject of ratio-proportion, and I asked without realizing it: "Teacher, I found this, how do you know?"
We were very poor, my father would give me a limited amount of money and ask me to buy olives, cheese, sugar, eggs... We had an Uncle Grocer who was bad at mathematics. She would calculate for half an hour and I would get bored. Then, if 1 kilo is 5 liras, I would calculate how many grams would be 2 liras, and calculate until I got to the grocery store. I would tell Uncle Grocer that you will give this much, and Uncle Grocer would give that much, but this time, after receiving the money, he would start calculating for a long time, and I would get bored. However, over time, he started to trust my account and this trip to the grocery store became shorter and hassle-free.
At such a time, our teacher surprised me when he explained ratio and proportion, and a question like this came out of my mouth: "Teacher, how do you know this?" Our teacher smiled: "Son, this is something that has been known for I don't know how long before Christ." said. Of course I was upset. (Our teacher's approach can be evaluated in another time and place in terms of child development, but I will not touch on this issue at all since it has little to do with what I want to explain right now.) im.)
This is a poem that describes me exactly, and then I realized that this poem actually describes what everyone wants to be and do. I'm asking, can you show a person who would not want the lifestyle in the poem and would be uncomfortable with this lifestyle?
Yes, we all think we are very special. In fact, when we look at it, we see that we are not special at all and that we do not differ from each other very much. Even when viewed from this perspective, we realize how important it is for us to know our unique aspects.
Man wants to live to the fullest, how will this happen? In fact, putting four words into action will make our job much easier.
-
Focus,
-
Observation,
-
Communication,
-
Control.
Focusing: Being able to concentrate attention on a certain point
Observation: Focusing on an object, event or A careful and planned examination of a fact in order to know its qualities
Communication: Bringing emotions, thoughts or information to mind transferring them to others through any possible means, in a sense, the messages we receive and the reactions we show as a result
Control: To see whether the change we aim for has occurred
What we want to do focus, when we are a good observer, when we establish healthy communications and pay due attention to control, we can live as in poetry, or poetry Living like this is not even a chore.
When we consider people's lives, we see that they take four basic actions. First, they get some data from the environment in which they live. We call this perception. Then they evaluate it in the light of their own experience. They reveal their emotions on the new data and take action regarding this data.
So:
-
Perception – at the level of the senses
-
Cognitive – at the level of thinking
-
Emotional – at the level of emotions
-
At the physical – action level
All these behaviors vary according to the person's experience. The environment and the object exist for everyone, they gain meaning at the level of perception, cognitive, emotional and action. Of course, this meaning will not be the same. For a poet, it will appear as sehl-i mümteni (words that seem easy to say but are not at all). To a sculptor, it will appear as a stone with its excess removed. For a musician, there will be a melody that we can hear with every sense other than our ears, or for a scientist, it will be a cure for a seemingly incurable disease. So what will happen to those who live like vegetators? (I'm sorry, weed, I know the environment and the object have a very special meaning for you, but it's a human habit, deal with it.)
We read a text when we were in primary school. This text included a dialogue between a poet and a shepherd.
A huge statue of a great poet was erected in the middle of the city while he was still alive and a shepherd saw it while wandering around the city. He felt strange and troubled him... One day, while our poet was wandering in the mountains, he encountered this shepherd. A conversation begins between the poet and the shepherd, whose statue was erected in the middle of the city. The shepherd does not know that that poet is the poet he is talking to now. The shepherd says:
What is the difference between me and him that my statue is not erected but his statue is erected in the middle of the city?
Poet:
-
(Pointing to the sky) He says, "Look at the Moon now." When the shepherd says he is looking:
He says now close your eyes and try to see the Moon like that.
Shepherd:
-
How can I see with my eyes closed, he says.
Poet:
-
That's the poet you mentioned, with his eyes closed. He can see the moon more clearly and more beautifully, he says.
This is the feature that makes Ataol Behramoğlu Ataol Behramoğlu and makes him study. Its ability to influence people, to express what we want to say in one fell swoop, and the perception, thinking, emotions we mentioned above. It is directly proportional to the approaches it shows at the level of expression and action.
Now, while reading the poem, we have come to the last part.
“There is something I have learned from my experiences...
Once you have lived, you will live great...
You will mix with the rivers, the sky, the whole universe.
Because what we call life is a gift to life
And life is a gift to man..."
In the last chapter, "living big" means " Let's focus on living as if we merged with the rivers, the sky, and the whole universe. Life is a gift offered to life, and life is a gift offered to humans...
Let's look at this again, remembering words such as "Quantum Physics", "Law of the Universe", "Law of Attraction", "The Secret", which have been on everyone's lips lately. to the verses. Everything in the universe is a whole, every part is an integral part of this whole, there is nothing we cannot do with the power of thought, the space in the universe is always much more than matter, when we think of the neutron of an atom as a basketball, the nearest electron is about twenty miles away. What we mean will become clearer when we imagine what could happen.
So how is it possible to live like this? It is possible by perceiving ourselves and everything that belongs to us (or everything that belongs to us) correctly.
I tried to list the general characteristics of people partially below. These are the features generally seen from a bird's eye view. Now, how possible is it for a person with these characteristics to live like a poem or to live like a poem?
-
People generally do not know how to ask questions.
-
They are not aware that their behaviors direct their experiences.
-
They cannot predict that they need help in imagining.
-
They are more aware of what they do not want than what they want. .
-
When they realize how important time is, it will be too late.
-
They focus on the results rather than the causes.
