Mole (nevus) is the common name for skin lesions caused by cells that produce the pigment called melanin in the skin. Moles are benign skin lesions. They are not cancerous cells.
Moles generally do not harm health. Only a mole can cause a health problem if it changes rapidly in shape, color or size, if it bleeds, itches or hurts, due to the possibility of melanoma.
It is frequently seen in every part of the body, especially the neck, armpit, under the breast and eyelids. Skin tags, on the other hand, are harmless skin folds that protrude from the skin. They are of no importance other than aesthetic concern.
These lesions, which are so common, generally disturb people in terms of appearance and can be a bit annoying.
What to do. After a preliminary examination, moles can be easily removed with a small procedure performed within 5-10 minutes, and you can return to your social life after the procedure.
